Welcome Tarang: Our New Personal Trainer for Older Adults in Brampton
We are very happy to announce the newest addition to our Vintage Fitness team: Tarang Patel, a dedicated personal trainer with a passion for enhancing the well-being of seniors. Tarang brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to our team, and we’re excited to introduce him to you.
Meet Tarang
Meet Tarang, a certified physiotherapist originally from India. With six years of experience in training older adults, he's dedicated to serving the Brampton and Mississauga communities. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, Tarang holds a bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy. His expertise spans across treating various conditions, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary issues, along with sports injuries. Having specialized in geriatric care in a multi-specialty hospital, Tarang brings a wealth of knowledge to his practice.
Tarang’s Approach to Fitness
Tarang’s approach to fitness is holistic, focusing on all five domains of health. He is dedicated to improving the well-being of seniors and making exercise sessions enjoyable and engaging. His Tiered Exercise Program (TEP) certification enhances his ability to create individualized treatment programs based on each person’s physical capabilities.
One of Tarang’s specialties is using techniques like Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR), cupping (skin therapy), and other physiotherapy methods to address sports-related injuries effectively. He has worked with athletes of varying ages and has devised tailored treatment plans to help patients reach their goals.
