Fall prevention is not the same as general fitness. A safe, effective program needs to account for joint changes, medication effects, chronic conditions, and the specific muscle groups that support balance. Our trainers are Certified Older Adult Specialists, which means every session is built around what is safe, appropriate, and genuinely useful for your body, not a generic workout adapted on the fly.
We learn about your needs, current activity level, goals, and whether in-home or virtual training is the better fit for you. We will also walk you through what the program looks like and answer any questions about pricing and scheduling.
Your program may include balance training, leg and core strengthening, mobility work, posture exercises, and confidence-building movement, all tailored to your comfort and safety.
Over 12 weeks, you will move more safely and confidently, with exercises designed to support real-life activities at home and in the community. You will finish the program with a certificate of completion and a take-home exercise handout so you can keep building on your progress.
Get one-on-one guidance in the comfort of your home from a trainer who understands how to work safely with older adults. We provide in-home senior personal training across Toronto and many GTA communities, including Etobicoke, North York, Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, and Scarborough.
Train from home with live online coaching and a personalized plan that helps you improve balance, strength, and confidence wherever you are. Virtual sessions are a great option for seniors who want flexible support without leaving home.
Elizabeth came to Vintage Fitness with clear goals: better strength, balance, endurance, posture, sleep, and the ability to walk for long periods while travelling. Working with her trainer Angie twice a week on a mix of strength, balance, agility, and cardio training, she gained noticeably better balance and posture, her hand pain disappeared, and her endurance kept improving. She is now travelling internationally and feeling great about her progress.
After a difficult year, Beverly was struggling to get up stairs and needed both arms on the railing for support. Working with her trainer Lorenzo over four months on leg strength, spinal mobility, flexibility, and balance, she now climbs stairs quickly and barely needs the railing at all. Her tandem balance, standing with one foot directly in front of the other, improved from 10 seconds to over two minutes.
After six months of personal training with her trainer Mais, Jamilla made significant improvements in balance, coordination, flexibility, and range of motion across all her joints. The pain she had been experiencing in her muscles and joints also improved. She feels more independent and confident about her body, and is now able to travel on her own to visit family.
After a stroke, Bob set goals to recover his stamina, balance, and ease the pain in his shoulder. Training virtually with Vintage Fitness for three months, his leg strength improved dramatically, and he was able to do 30 sit-to-stands in a single session by August. His balance improved too: he went from needing his trainer's hand for support to standing on his own.
