Meet Chetan: In-Home Personal Trainer for Seniors in Brampton

We are happy to introduce the newest member of the Vintage Fitness team: Chetan Kinhikar, now offering in-home personal training for seniors in Brampton and north Mississauga. If you have been looking for a trainer who comes to you, works patiently at your pace, and knows how to build strength safely, we think you are going to enjoy getting to know him.
Sixteen Years of Helping People Move With Confidence
Chetan brings more than 16 years in the fitness industry, spanning personal training, coaching and gym management. Over those years he has worked with a wide range of clients, including seniors and people living with mobility and balance limitations, wheelchair users, arthritis, and clients returning to exercise after major surgery.
His qualifications reflect that well-rounded background. Chetan is a canfitpro Personal Training Specialist (PTS), is CPR/AED certified, and holds a Master of Physical Education, a Bachelor of Physical Education, a Bachelor of Commerce, and a 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certification. That mix of exercise science and yoga shapes how he thinks about movement, mobility and safe, steady progress.
In his own words, "I've seen how consistent, individualized training improves not just physical fitness, but mobility, confidence and everyday quality of life." For older adults, he says, that difference can be life-changing.
A Safe, Individualized Approach for Older Adults
Chetan's method with older adults is individualized, safe and progressive. He focuses on building strength, mobility, balance, stability and confidence, while respecting each person's current abilities and limitations.
Every client starts with an appropriate assessment. From there, Chetan chooses exercises that are practical and meaningful to your daily life, then progresses them gradually as your strength and movement quality improve. Nothing is rushed, and nothing is one-size-fits-all. Whether you are managing arthritis, rebuilding after a surgery, or simply want to feel steadier on your feet, the program is built around you and adjusted as you go.
Training in English, Hindi or Marathi
One thing that sets Chetan apart in the Brampton and north Mississauga community is language. Chetan speaks English, Hindi and Marathi, so clients and their families who feel most comfortable in Hindi or Marathi can train, ask questions and set goals in the language that feels most natural to them. For many families, being able to talk through health history and goals in a first language makes the whole experience easier from the very first session.
Serving Brampton and North Mississauga
Chetan provides in-home personal training for seniors across Brampton and north Mississauga, including Peel Village and Churchville in Brampton, and Meadowvale, Streetsville, Churchill Meadows, Erin Mills, East Credit and the Mississauga City Centre area. He comes to you, so there is no gym to travel to and no equipment to buy. Every session is built around your home, your abilities and your goals.
