Linda's Success Story
Linda can now easily get off the floor with ease
Linda's thoughts:
In August, I started training with Vintage Fitness and my wonderful instructor, Tamara, and set a goal of being able to get up off the floor which I was no longer able to do. In October, I was unable to find my hearing aids. Thinking that maybe the cat had knocked them onto the floor and under my bed, I got down on both knees to check whether they were there. Not finding them, I got up and went into the living room to look for them there. Suddenly, I realized that I had gotten up off the floor without even thinking about it and struggling to do it! It just happened! My legs are now strong enough to support me and my balance has improved a great deal. I just want to say thank you to Tamara and Vintage Fitness. You have truly changed my life for the better.
Linda's Personal Trainer's, Tamara's, thoughts:
When Linda started her training program she struggled with getting up off the floor. One of her main goals was to be able to do that without anyone's help. She achieved this goal two weeks ago when she got up off the floor at home without giving it a second thought.
Linda has been training consistently 3 times a week for 2.5 months, despite encountering some difficulties with knee pain, which could have been the perfect excuse to quit, but she didn't. Her motivation, grit and perseverance are truly admirable. Linda is the perfect example of how exercise can significantly improve your quality of life, and of the way routine and consistent investment in physical fitness can keep you strong, healthy and independent.
