Pain in the neck
Good Morning,
I hope that you are staying dry with all of the wet weather that we have been having here in Toronto. I have been having some pain and stiffness in my neck and upper back lately at my osteopath showed me a stretch yesterday that is simple and a great way to ease neck pain.
Sit up tall in a sturdy chair and either sit on your hands or hold onto the bottom of the chair (you do this to keep your shoulders down during the stretch). Tilt your head over to one side until you feel a gentle stretch in your neck and upper back (traps).
Try this stretch 3-5 times today at different times throughout the day and hold each stretch for 30 seconds.
Good Luck
Erin
