Meet Our Trainers
All of our trainers are professional, highly qualified an enjoy working with adult seniors. Here they are:

Abigail James:
Abigail (Abby) is a warm and passionate trainer, with extensive education, who loves working with older adults. She has an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University, and certification as a Seniors Fitness Instructor with the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Recreation Therapy from Georgian College, and currently works as a Recreational Therapist at The Credit Valley Hospital in the outpatient Seniors and Rehabilitation Day Hospital.
She works in Mississauga, Etobicoke and Oakville.

Leigh Graham:
Leigh is an inquisitive, warm, knowledgeable trainer. She has a Kinesiology Degree from Western is a Seniors Fitness Group Exercise Instructor, a “master trainer” for the Canadian Centre for Activity and Aging and has 10 years teaching group exercise and personal training older adults. When she is not training she is running, doing yoga and climbing mountains!She works in the west end of Toronto including Etobicoke and Mississauga

Lorne Opler
As a personal trainer with a master’s degree in health promotion, Lorne brings fifteen years experience as a fitness coach to Vintage Fitness, augmented by his academic background in the practice and theories of health education. Certified as a Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach with the National Strength and Conditioning Association, he specializes in older adult fitness, with a passion for and dedication to working with newcomers to exercise, and individuals living with chronic disease.Lorne works in north and central Toronto, as well as the downtown core and East York

Olena Tregubenko
Olena’s boundless energy is contagious. She is an ‘older adult fitness specialist’ through Can-Fit Pro, is a CALA certified aqua fitness and Pilates instructor and has been training older adults for 15 years. She is an avid cyclist and yogi.She works in Downtown and North Toronto

Erin Billowits
Erin started Vintage Fitness in 2005. Her vision was to create a team of professionals that understand how to motivate and train people over 50 in a way that is challenging, effective and safe. She has two Biology degrees from the University of Guelph and an MBA from McMaster. She has been training older adults for 11 years and teaching group exercise classes for 18. She plays hockey, runs, does yoga and strength trains.Erin teaches workshops across the GTA

Michael Sapryhajlo
Michael is personable, loves working with people and is passionate for about older adult health and wellness. He has a biochemistry degree from the University of Guelph and has been a personal trainer for 10 years. Michael specialises in post rehabilitation following an injury or surgery. He enjoys weight training, running and cooking a wonderful meal as a treat after all of his hard work.He works in Burlington, Oakville and East Toronto
